The role of the local branch

ADAS-INRAE, the Association for the Development of INRAE’s Social Activities (under the 1901 law), is tasked with researching, promoting, organising and carrying out all initiatives and projects of a social, educational, cultural, sporting and social nature for its members and their dependants.

Working in tandem with the National ADAS, the local branches organise gatherings, sporting or cultural events to foster a sense of community and to maintain and develop social ties among all ADAS members, whether active or retired.

As a key player in community life at the centre, the local ADAS branch helps to maintain social ties and cohesion within the centre’s various work communities. Its activities also help to improve staff members’ quality of life.

Who is eligible to benefit from the initiatives organised by the Bordeaux branch?

• INRAE staff (current and retired), as active or retired members
• Staff from other organisations (University of Bordeaux, CNRS) working at the INRAE site, as associates
• External parties (parents, children who are no longer dependants, etc.), subject to approval by the local branch
